Krishiv Sareen is a student at Woodstock School in Mussoorie, India, where he studies Math AA, Physics, Economics, Chemistry, Spanish Ab Initio, and English Literature and Language under the IBDP curriculum. He has a keen interest in engineering and entrepreneurship, and has explored this through Oxford Royale’s ‘Designing Tomorrow: Engineering & Technology’ course at UC Berkeley in July 2024 as well as research projects including developing ‘Life-Coating,’ a dual-chemical based coating that increases the shelf life of bananas. It was this project that gave birth to the idea for Under WRAPS, expounding the use of sustainable technologies and alternatives to improve household conservation efforts.
Apart from his academic inclinations, Krishiv is also a talented musician, having cleared the Grade 4 Trinity Certification in Electric Guitar, and playing saxophone in the Advanced School Band. He has also honed his leadership skills through the Harvard Leadership BootCamp in June 2024, receiving a certificate for the Most Empathetic Participant at the end of the program. In the same vein, his passion for volunteer work is exemplified by the large-scale winter jacket donation drive he organized for students from underserved communities in Ramgarh in 2024 as well as a water filter distribution drive for senior citizens in 2023.
